Jordan is an oasis of calm surrounded by turbulence. Bordering Syria, Iraq, Israel and the Palestinian Territories, it remains welcoming and (relatively) peaceful.
A fast and furious eight days exploring Egypt – Cairo, Aswan, Luxor and the Nile. Barely skimmed the surface. It was no way to see such a majestic country, but that’s all we had so made the most of it.
In two weeks we chased six thousand years of history. From 5,800 year old Megalithic temples to WWII war rooms, Malta is bubbling over with history.
Not quite Africa, no longer Portuguese, Cabo Verde is a colourful mixture of both. We explored by quad, bike, boat, car and foot.
